Moms More Likely to Use Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter

According to a new Retail Advertising and Marketing Association (RAMA) survey, conducted by BIGResearch, moms with children at home are more likely to use Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter than average adults. The survey shows that 60 percent of moms use Facebook, 42 percent use MySpace, and 16 percent use Twitter, compared to 50 percent, 34 percent, and 15 percent of average adults, respectively. Additionally, 15 percent of moms maintain their own blog.
Regarding purchase-making, the survey shows that 93 percent of moms seek the advice of others before buying a service or product, and 97 percent of moms said they give advice to others about those products or services they purchased.
